<div itemprop="description">HOLT, Ted Sr. - 1935-2014. <br />Passed away at the N-O-T-L Hospital peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday Feb 06th, 2014. He was in his 79th year. <br />Devoted husband to his late wife Thelma (2007). Loving father of Ted (Jr.), Susan (Reg) Smith, Lisa (Rocco) Caporuscio and Geri Holt. <br />Precious Grandpa to Krista (Chris), Cody, Jennifer, Robbie, Noah, Abi and 5 Great Grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his brother Lloyd (Betty) Holt, sister Elizabeth Holt, sister-in-law Norma Holt and many nieces and nephews. <br />Predeceased by his parents Robert and Effie Holt and his brother Bob. <br />Ted&rsquo;s family would like to extend a heartfelt &ldquo;Thank You&rdquo; to Dr.Horning and the wonderful staff and nurses at the Niagara-on-the-Lake hospital for their care and support. <br />In keeping with Ted&rsquo;s wishes cremation has taken place. His family will receive guests at BUTLER FUNERAL HOME -DOWNTOWN CHAPEL (33 Duke St. St.Catharines) 905-684-2334 on Monday Feb 10th from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Ted and Thelma&rsquo;s lives will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday Feb 11th at 11:00 a.m with inurnment at Maple Lawn Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital will be appreciated by his family.
