GAILLARD, Jean-Paul Charles- It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Jean-Paul Charles Gaillard on August 24, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Pre-deceased by his loving parents Henri Luc and Francoise ( Seneçhal ) Gaillard and adoring aunt Nicole Seneçhal.
He graduated with honors from the Marine Technology Navigation Program at Georgian College and upon graduation he served as marine officer with Canada Steamship Lines with dedication.
He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Philippe (Angela ) and his sister Christine. He will also be dearly remembered by his three nieces, Annick (Jonathan ), Lorena and Celine, and his nephew André.
In keeping with Jean-Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His family will receive visitors at BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 33 DUKE STREET, ST CATHARINES August 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
A funeral service to remember his life will be held at the funeral home chapel Thursday, August 30 at 11:00 AM with Monsignor Schaefer officiating and interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation.
